Compliance monitoring. Guidelines for VTE prevention recommend IPC therapy to take place continuously for 18 to 24 hours per day

and for no less than 72 hours or until the patient is fully mobile.

With the compliance monitor on ACS 900, the pump will record and display actual wear time accumulated into a total for each patient usage.

This will support clinical outcome by helping to ensure effective delivery of IPC therapy as well as aids documentation of delivered therapy by providing data for patient records.

If the garment is removed from the patient's limb, the pump will assist caregiver intervention by triggering a warning and showing elapsed non-compliant time on the LCD display.

This allows the caregiver to identify for how long the system has not been in use.

Once the garment is reapplied, the compliance time will continue accumulating and the non-compliant time will disappear.
