this course and thank you for coming. Today we are at the Nova Medical School

in Lisbon doing the second part of the international uniportal VATS course

sponsored by Panther. Yesterday we did live surgery from Lucera's hospital and

for the first time we did a uniportal robotic lobectomy with bronchoplasty in

live surgery broadcast to the auditorium where all the participants can see this

new approach we developed in September 2021 for the first time in the world.

We did a uniportal robotic but we used the staplers provided by Panther and I think

this combination is also a good choice for the participants because you can use the technology

of the robot for the section and the staplers for the division of the structures. So I think

this is a very interesting course and all the participants are trying to see these new approaches.
